Animal Evacuation, Rescue and Shelter-in-Place in Butte County

In disaster situations, when residents can’t move their animals to a safe location, who can?

NVADG volunteers, in partnership with emergency services, team up to evacuate, rescue or shelter-in-place animals at risk. Volunteers train year-round on fireline safety, emergency equipment, radio operations, animal rescue and animal handling to be ready to respond.
